Bulks & Cuts

Bulking and cutting is the practice of understanding how many calories your body needs to maintain.

When someone “bulks”, they consume more calories than they’re using on a daily basis. i.e. Your body needs 2000 daily calories to maintain your current weight. To bulk, you’d consume 2500 calories when bulking.

Cutting is just the opposite. That is, consuming fewer calories than your body’s daily caloric needs.
